Riverbend TEC works in collaboration with the Office of Youth Ministry of the Diocese of New Ulm. It is also affiliated with the TEC Conference. Leadership is provided by a Coordinator who works closely with an advisory council consisting of a priest, the Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry, eight adults, two young adults (age 20-24) and two youth representatives (age 17-19) who have been involved in Riverbend TEC. The Riverbend TEC Council meets monthly to facilitate and guide the program. Fr. Dennis Labat has served as Coordinator since RB # 16 in January 1980.
